Not all healthy supplements need to cost money. We have all heard that we should get fresh air, but do you really know what those benefits are? Fresh air helps your digestive system by increasing the flow of oxygen. This helps to digest food more efficiently and use the nutrients. Fresh air lowers blood pressure and heart rate reducing risk of heart attacks and stroke. As you breathe in oxygen, you increase your serotonin levels. Serotonin is known as the “happy hormone” which helps to lift mood. Fresh air helps boost your immune system. The oxygen we breathe in boosts our circulation, which helps our white blood cells function effectively in fighting infections. Breathing in fresh air helps your lungs inflate more, better exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide, helping the body rid itself of toxins. Overall, by breathing in fresh oxygen-rich air and boosting the blood circulation, your brain function improves, leading to better concentration and focus.
