Lower Back Pain

Do you get pain in your lower back?
We have 5 vertebrae in our lumbar region which protect nerves that support our large bowel, reproductive organs, and lower limbs.
As a reflexologist I can often assess lower back problems before even touching the spinal reflex.
The spinal reflex runs along the inner edge of our feet. If you sit with the soles of your feet together, you will see the edge of your feet are “S-shaped” reflecting the shape of the spine.
If you have flat feet (fallen arches) or very high arches this corresponds to physical changes in the lumbar spine.
Whilst reflexology cannot alter the shape of your spine, it can reduce inflammation, pain, tension in this area, which help to reduce pain.
