Well if you consider that being around for over 4,000 is a fad, then ok it’s a fad . Reflexology is rooted in ancient Egypt. In fact, the oldest documented practice of reflexology was seen on the walls of the tomb of Ankmahor, who was a medical man, believed to date from around 2,500 BC. Various forms of reflexology have been developed in America, Africa, and the Far East. Modern reflexology was developed by Dr William Fitzgerald in the 1900s after observing Native Americans using techniques of pressure-point therapy to relieve pain. Eunice Ingham in the 1930s made the feet specific targets for reflexology and developed maps of the entire body on the feet.
