What does the shape of your feet say about you?

What does the shape of your feet say about you?

Have you ever really, and I mean REALLY, looked at your feet?  What do you notice about them?  Are they narrow all the way along?  Are they wide at the toes but the heel is very narrow?  Do you have flat feet or high arches? Do you have bunions?

All of these things tell me something about your body, even before I get my hands on you!

Today, I am not going to look at toes.  I’m saving that treat for another day!  This is looking at the structure of the foot.  So which trait can you relate to and does the meaning relate to you?  I’d love you to let me know!

If, like me, you have wide feet, it is believed that you are a reliable worker.  You are usually busy, and certainly you are at your happiest when you have a lot going on.  But, you also need to stop and allow yourself time for calm and reflection.  Your feet are firmly planted on the ground, but you can also allow yourself to dream and reflect.

What if you have long narrow feet? The Chinese believe you have “princess” feet and are quick to delegate.  However, you have a wonderful eye for what looks beautiful and you surround yourself with beautiful things.  So, at least while you are being waited on hand and foot, you are doing it in style!!

High arches represent independence and self-sufficiency.  You may be considered to be anti-social because you need plenty of time on your own.  You may be set in your ways and considered to be too rigid.

If you have low arches, also known as flat feet, then you actually crave spending time around other people, are very sociable, to the point of being an extrovert.  Although you like to have a good time, it is also important to you that others are having a good time.

Physically, high arches and flat feet tell me that you have a problem with your spine, particularly around the lumbar or lower back area.  This is because if you put the soles of your feet together and look along the inside edge of your feet, they should appear S-shaped like a spine.  By having a high arch, there is a greater bend in your spine, and flat feet show that the curve is straighter than normal.

So, what about the humble bunion?  Having a bunion suggests that you try to please all the people all of the time, and end up feeling totally exhausted both mentally and physically.  The bunion area corresponds to the shoulder area in the body, which, in turn, suggests you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, or you have broad shoulders that everyone cries on.  Interestingly, I know someone who has just had her bunion reduced, therefore maybe she is not going to be putting herself out as much for others? We shall see!!

So, can you relate to any of these?  I’d love to know if any of these relate to you. Drop me a comment below.
