Who uses reflexology?

Reflexology is used by millions of people around the world to complement conventional treatments. It has been around for over 4,000 years!

It can be given to anyone, from newborn babies to the elderly, or those receiving end of life care.

However, reflexology is not given within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy so that alterations in blood circulation and pressure do not affect those first vulnerable weeks. After that, reflexology can help relieve many pregnancy-associated symptoms and help to reduce pain in labour.

As a reflexologist, I cannot diagnose conditions, and as a nurse I still advocate conventional medicine. But reflexology does help to balance the body, reduces tension, reduces inflammation, boosts immunity, boosts circulation, and eliminates toxins. All of these can help improve the effectiveness of your conventional treatment.

The list of conditions that reflexology can help with is endless, but has very good effects for stress, low mood, anxiety, migraines, peri-menopause, fatigue, insomnia, sinus problems, back pain, constipation and high blood pressure.
